Christian is the Co-Founder and CEO of SelfieStyler, a virtual, social and apparel shopping platform that enables consumers to create unique outfits across hundreds of leading global fashion brands directly on their digitally measured selfie from a mobile device with guaranteed fit.
Christian has conducted extensive research relating to the consumer retail sales and operations industry including apparel, distribution and supply chain. An Alumni of Harvard Business School, Christian is committed to ongoing education and has completed additional educational programs at HBS and at Stanford d.School with an emphasis on design thinking, consumer empathy experience, strategic marketing, digital retail transformation, social and strategic marketing, big data, machine learning, open innovation, people analytics and cultural transformation.
His strategic case presentation, “Retail Apparel Industry Disruption: SelfieStyler, Snap-Style-Share-Shop” received first place in strategy competition at the Harvard Business School.

Prior to founding SelfieStyler, Mr. Ruth founded Covenant Capital Holdings, an investment holding company at which he remains a passive manager. Prior to Covenant, Mr. Ruth served as a Vice President at Platinum Equity, a private equity firm. Prior to Platinum, he was an investment banker at Morgan Stanley and Credit Suisse First Boston in Silicon Valley where he specialized in technology mergers and acquisitions and advised large clients and their subsidiaries such as Nortel Networks, Hewlett Packard, Oracle and Yahoo, amongst others. Prior to investment banking, he was an audit CPA with Arthur Andersen.
He has over 20 years of combined strategic, operational, financial, investment and advisory experience from start-ups to industry leading organizations. He has been involved with dozens of domestic and international transactions representing almost $30 billion in value and contributed to triple digit returns.
Christian is an active private pilot and holds multiple FAA rating including: multi-engine commercial instrument and a multi-engine airline transport pilot (ATP). Christian is happily married with three daughters.
